I have the same crappy thing for 2 years now. It appears that your infection was acquired during your second operation. I enjoyed both videos. (If “enjoy” is the right word) and understand completely the need to make light of a shitty experience.
Couple of questions: 1) Why was your first surgery needed? (I had a diverticula that burst.) 2) How was the second surgery and recovery, removing the stoma, compared to the first? I’m chicken shit scared of getting it reversed and have been delaying surgery for 18 months now. 3) Also you probably don’t care at this point, but I used to squeeze the bag too until I found an easier way. I use a 0.5 liter Spring Water bottle and put half into the bag, shake it around, dump, and rinse with the second half. Works perfectly! Also, I changed the wafer once a week in a detachable system. Changed the bag every other day.
I would love to hear your experience with the second surgery. Thanks.

Your video came up on a random google and has really made me laugh. I kept on thinking “where’s the poo shot? Can he not catch it in action?”, lol.
I’m a 41 year young woman and I’ve recently been furnished with a permanent colostomy. I’m taking the “you gotta laugh” line at my shitty state
.
If I ever fix my video camera I’ll know what to film.
